Games History Hour

Games History Hour: A Virtual Series

Games History Hour is a collaborative program of the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH) and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum (USOPM), created to share the history and heritage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games with audiences around the world.

Presented quarterly, the free online series brings together leading Olympic historians, researchers, and subject experts to explore important events, personalities, milestones, and themes from the history of the Games. Each program offers an opportunity to look more closely at a particular aspect of Olympic or Paralympic history and to hear the perspectives of specialists in the field.

Programs are originally presented as live-streamed discussions and subsequently made available for on-demand viewing. The recordings below provide an opportunity to revisit previous editions of Games History Hour and explore the many stories that have shaped the Olympic and Paralympic movements.
