Applications Open for 2025 IOA Session for Educators from Higher Institutes of Physical Education

The International Olympic Academy (IOA) has opened the application phase for its summer session for Educators from Higher Institutes of Physical Education.
It is the 15th of its kind and is scheduled to run from July 6th to 11th.
The session is set to include lectures from noted professors, workshops and visits to the archaeological site and museums of Olympia.
The special subject for the session is “E-sport within the Olympic Culture”.
Applications to attend can be made through the IOA platform. You can apply online at registration.ioa.org.gr. Applications must be made by Wednesday, April 30th 2025.
Registration and participation fees are 950 Euros per person
This covers all local transport (including pick up from the airport to the hotel, bus to Olympia and return to Athens Airport) and accommodation (One night at the Candia Hotel in Athens (https://www.candia-hotel.gr/en/) and four nights at the IOA premises in Ancient Olympia (https://www.ioa.org.gr/the-academy/premises),with full board. The tours of the archaeological site and the Olympia museums are also included.
The session represents a superb opportunity to spend time in the idyllic surroundings of the IOA.
The International Olympic Academy (https://www.ioa.org.gr/) welcomes scholars wishing to explore Olympic issues and practices and expand their knowledge on contemporary issues of world sport and especially the Olympic Movement.
Participants are welcome to prepare a short paper related to the special subject which they will be able to present during the Session. All short papers will be included in the proceedings of the session.
