Jean-Loup Chappelet Receives 2026 ISOH Lifetime Award
Professor Jean-Loup Chappelet is a leading scholar of Olympic history, governance and sport management. His lifelong engagement with the Olympic Movement combines historical and academic research with practical experience, including five years at the IOC. As Professor at the University of Lausanne, he educated generations of sport leaders and authored more than 250 scientific publications. His dedication to Pierre de Coubertin’s legacy includes fourteen years as Secretary General of the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee.
