“The excellent idea of organizing a competition on the history of the Olympic Committees during the session of the New Ambassadors of Olympism was a great success,” said IOA Dean Professor Kostas Georgiadis. “ In this way, we are creating a new generation of historians of the Olympic Games and the Olympic movement.”

IOA Senior advisor Dr Dionyssis Gangas is hopeful that similar competitions can be organised in future years.
“The outcomes of this initiative were remarkable! The beautiful posters depicted the past, present, and future of each country’s history within the Olympic Movement. By compiling all these posters, one can truly appreciate how Olympic Values and the evolution of sports in each country have influenced entire societies.”
The competition had been devised by Professor Bulatova in association with fellow ISOH Board member Tolga Sinoforoglu.
